Course description

The training aims to provide students with a thorough understanding of the entire spectrum of reproductive health services, including family planning.  
 
accessible, reasonable, socially acceptable, and practical; it also understands how the demands for reproductive health change as a person ages and how to address these needs in a manner that takes into account the variety of local circumstances.  

This programme also ensures to impart a thorough, multidisciplinary grasp of the fundamental concepts of reproductive health, as well as the facets that are connected to it and the origins and effects of issues related to reproductive health.  

To teach the information and abilities necessary to formulate research questions on reproductive health, plan a study based in the community to look into the issue, gather pertinent field data, analyse the data, and present the findings in a context related to policy or science.  

Learning outcomes of the programme will be as follows: 

 

    • Graduates of the programme are more equipped to make decisions and evaluate and treat clients' reproductive health issues. Additionally supports managers and trainees in their endeavours to enhance the health of expectant women and newborns across the board in the healthcare system. 
    • After completing this course, the student will be able to discuss the fundamental biological processes that underpin both male and female reproduction and are relevant to concerns related to reproductive health, including ageing reproductive systems, infertility, and contraception.  
    • Graduates are familiar with the principles of managing reproductive health.  
    • Graduates will gain expertise in family planning, neonatal care, and maternal health counselling.
